Rising Car Insurance. By Leigh Fitzell
Rising Car Insurance.
Every year Insurance rise's and its still not being highlighted.
From the housing crisis to hospital chaos this government never fails to let the people down, But recently what has been coming out of the background is rising car insurance rates of up to 60%.
In my opinion all insurance companies discriminate young drivers, They use our young age as an excuse to make our quotes more expensive.
I myself as a 19 year old am paying out almost €2,000 alone on car insurance for a one litre Nissan Micra under a full no claims bonus and also under a full licensed driver.
When I rang an insurance company they happily offer me a quote of almost €3,000 without any hesitation.
Given that price was almost double the offer I'd been given by my existing insurer, I tell him thanks, but no thanks.
On October each year, my motor insurance comes up for renewal and the preceding weeks never fail to be stressful and frustrating.
As we all know it is hard enough to keep a car on the road with the state of the country roads and expensive tax, the least thing we want to hear is that insurance is rising trough the roof.
We need to highlight this matter as soon as possible to stop outrageous quotes.
