A TD is for Term, Not Just for Elections. Make Your Vote Count!
Your vote should count from one election until the next but sadly we've all experienced the promises that are forgotten as soon as the election is over.
A vote for Brian Finucane and People before Profit is a vote for an ever increasing team of community activists who give you, the people, a real voice and stand with you to demand and defend your rights. People before Profit members like Brian continue in the campaign for a fair society regardless of the results of elections.
Brian missed out in the 2014 local elections but has continued to support local people, local communities and the Kerry region.
Brian stood against the household and water tax and continued the campaign against Irish Water & water charges, establishing Right2water Kerry. He fought against the cuts to medical cards for cancer patients and the reduction in SNA services for children with special needs. He has been at the fore in fighting to preserve our communities from being destroyed by government cuts and post office closures. He has stood side by side with single parents to protest against cuts to lone parent payments, with Dunnes Stores workers to demand the end of precarious employment. He has highlighted the level of homelessness and the number of empty social housing units in Kerry. He has publicly challenged the abuse of data protection by state bodies, challenged attempts to prevent cutting turf and the sale of our forests, fought efforts to impose mass wind farms without consultation. He has assisted individuals and families with challenges presented by government cuts and more recently provided support in flood damage limitation helping families at risk of flooding.
Brian has consistently stood with the people of Kerry and has been the voice of working class communities in Kerry in local and national media.
Use your vote wisely. Don't fall for the empty promises anymore. Vote for the candidate that has already shown he will continue to represent you. Vote for Brian.
